- Extra Credit
- The man killed by the sub way, was shoved and could not get back up in time, by someone anonymous. The photographer claimed that he was taking the photo's in order to alert the train driver with the camera flash that something was wrong.
- The photographer said he took the photo to alert the train driver that something was wrong and he needed to stop.
- I think that the photographer should have been physically trying to help the guy get out, rather then taking photos... on the other hand I think at least people know the majority or what happened to the man that was killed.
- I believe that the photographer did not do all that he could have to save the man because I don't believe he was trying to help at all and either way, he especially was not trying to help him physically get out before the train got there.
- Personally I think that photojournalist do think different of course but that most of them would like to capture any type of incident as it is happening and put getting the photo over helping someone first. Not in all cases though and hopefully they do prefer to help people first.
- I think that it's okay to put yourself in to a photo that you taking in the first place but i do feel like you should be the one shooting other things or people, unless it's like a self portrait type of picture.
- I don't think that photographers should try and avoid events, they should try and get many events... However, there is a time to stop and help instead.
- "If he could not physically get to the man trapped on the tracks in time-firing his flash to get the operator's attention may have been his only recourse.
- I think for them to put it on the front cover was not a bad thing to do because it let everyone be aware of what happened that day and what could happen at any time. I don't see the harm that came with doing it.
