                                                               The Camera


Pentaprism: is a five-sided reflecting prism used to deviate a beam of light by a constant 90°, even if the entry beam is not at 90° to the prism. 
  

Minox: is a subminiature camera conceived in 1922 and invented in 1936 by German-Latvian Walter Zapp,[1] which Latvian factory VEF (Valsts Elektrotehniskā Fabrika) manufactured from 1937 to 194.
  

Mamiya: just officially announced, its latest digital medium-format camera.


Rangefinder: An instrument for estimating the distance of an object, esp. for use with a camera or gun.

Aperture: An opening, hole or gap.


Shutter: Each of a pair of hinged panels fixed inside or outside a window that can be closed for security ir privacy or to keep out light.

Exposure:  The state of being exposed to contact with something.


Depth of field: The distance between the nearest and the furthest object that give an image judged to be in focus in a camera.

F-stop: In optics, the f-number (sometimes called focus ratio, f-ratio or relative aperture) of an optical system.


Focal Length: the distance between the center of a lens or curved mirror and its focus.
